Everyone knows that goat cheese is made with goat's milk. That's a no-brainer.
And who doesn't love goat cheese?
And, obviously, you have to milk the dairy goat to collect the milk.
Nigerian Dwarfs are known for producing milk that's really high in butterfat, which leads to really delicious cheese.
But, wait, you can't just start milking a female goat when you have a craving for cheese.
She has to have a baby first. Sigh. Baby goats.
So what do you do when you have two female goats and you REALLY WANT to make goat cheese?
You research, you think about buying a male goat, you change your mind, you consider artificial insemination, you change your mind again, then you finally find a nearby buck owner willing to bring his stud to your doe for a little driveway romance.
